When Community Email is active on KindHOA-hosted DNS, KindHOA finishes the mail security setup so addresses like board@yoursite.com look legitimate to Gmail, Outlook, and other inboxes — not a random personal From. You do not paste MX/SPF/DKIM records at GoDaddy yourself; that is the point of Managed Domain or DNS Hosting for board email.

No. Community Email lives in KindHOA Community Mail — compose, folders, and search in the app. There is no IMAP setup for Outlook or Apple Mail. Officers rename addresses when roles change so board@ stays with the HOA, not someone’s personal inbox.

Buying a community web address through KindHOA means KindHOA registers and hosts DNS for you. DNS Hosting means you keep your registrar but point nameservers to KindHOA so we can host DNS and enable board email. Community Email needs KindHOA-hosted DNS either way.
No. Community Email needs exclusive mail delivery on that domain. If public mail records look like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, KindHOA soft-blocks the setup so two mail systems do not fight over the same name.

When Community Email activates on KindHOA-hosted DNS, KindHOA finishes the behind-the-scenes mail security setup so addresses like board@yoursite.com look legitimate to Gmail, Outlook, and other inboxes. You do not paste records at GoDaddy yourself. (For the curious: that includes MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.)
KindHOA’s security setup helps messages reach the inbox — it is the main foundation for trustworthy HOA mail — but nothing can promise “never spam.” Content, how often you send, and the recipient’s filters still matter.
