Every online payment carries Stripe processing (2.9% + 30¢ for cards, 0.8% capped at $5 for ACH) plus the KindHOA platform fee. On the free plan: 1.2% cards, 1% ACH. On Board Automation: 1% cards, 0.8% ACH. For most communities, the subscription pays for itself in lower fees alone.

Stripe bills Connect infrastructure (active account, payouts, bank verification) directly to your dues deposit account balance — not as separate KindHOA invoices. That is separate from the KindHOA platform fee on each online payment and from Stripe's per-transaction processing on resident payments.

You choose: (1) the HOA absorbs all fees, (2) the HOA passes Stripe processing to the resident but absorbs the KindHOA platform fee, or (3) the HOA passes all fees to the resident — keeping 100% of collected dues.

You keep all your data and revert to the free Good Neighbor tier. Automated features pause, your platform-fee rate returns to the free level, and you can keep creating invoices manually.

Yes. Community Operations → Mailings lets the board draft First-Class or Certified letters, pay postage by card, and track delivery. Good Neighbor list prices start at $3.99 (First-Class), $12.99 (Certified), and $17.99 (Certified + Return Receipt). Board Automation gets 8% off postage plus AI letter drafts. Postage is pay-per-letter — not included in the subscription — and ACH is not offered for postage.

Board Presence is $49.99/year (~$4.17/mo) for a real community web address plus five renameable officer emails KindHOA sets up — same yearly total as buying both separately, one checkout. A community web address alone is $29.99/year on any plan. Community Email alone is $19.99/year with Board Automation, a card on file, and KindHOA-hosted DNS.
