Standing committee packets that land cleanly on the board agenda
Official Committee Home gives chartered committees a workspace for tasks, files, and a board report the secretary can pull into Meetings.
Official Committee Home is Board Automation ($300/year or $29/month), and right now only some communities have it. Good Neighbor does not include it.
Official board committee, not a social club.
Working notes, not board minutes.
Committee notes and packets are working drafts — not official board minutes. Only the secretary can put a report into the official packet after you mark it ready.
Committees is in the sidebar. Meetings links Open Committees.
Step 1
Your committee’s report shows up on the secretary’s pull list when you are done drafting.
Sign in as a board member and open Committees.
- Tap Charter Committee to set up a standing committee (or open an existing one). Name it, set purpose, and save the charter.
- Open the committee workspace → Work tab → Meeting Packet & Recommendations.
- Fill Status Summary, Challenges & Blockers, and Recommendations for the Board. Add attachments if needed.
- Tap Ready for secretary when the draft is final.
This does not vote, does not post motions, and does not become minutes on its own.
Only the secretary (or the president when no secretary is assigned) can pull and promote committee reports.
Step 2
The agenda gets a Reports line the board can discuss.
Open Meetings → your scheduled meeting → Committee reports ready to pull.
- Tap Add to this meeting's agenda on the ready report.
- The agenda shows Committee report — plus the committee name under Reports.
Pull adds a working draft line — it is not automatic inclusion in the official minutes.
Step 3
You choose what enters the official packet or minutes.
After pull, on the same committee report row in Meetings.
- Tap Put in the official packet / minutes to promote, or Leave in open work only, or Don't include.
- Default is not included until the secretary promotes.
Promote is explicit and reversible. It is not a resident-facing post.
